FAQ

What is Assisted Living?

At St. Joseph’s Residence resident can rest easy knowing that there is support with their activities of daily living (ADL). We assist residents to the degree they require with the essential needs of bathing, grooming, and dressing. The dedicated staff provides daily meals, laundry, and housekeeping, as well as medication management as part of the ADL’s.

When is it time for Assisted Living?

Deciding when the time is right for yourself or your loved one is a personal decision that depends on many different factors. Some questions to consider are:

  1. Is it becoming more difficult to move around the house safely?
  2. Is bathing or showering too difficult to manage on your own?
  3. Have financial responsibilities such as bills been increasingly forgotten?
  4. Has driving become less safe for you?
  5. Are meals routinely forgotten?

If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, it may be time to consider assisted living with St. Joseph’s Residence.
